Prior to founding Yaitte, Danielle Windsor had spent nearly two decades working in the fashion industry. Frequently flying across cities and continents, she became adept at packing light. Her carry-on suitcase was religiously rolled with the essentials: clean-cut shirts and comfortable trousers.
Simple and smart, The Shirt is the poster boy for sartorial ease. With a quick swipe of lipstick, spritz of perfume and trouser switch, it can take on a new context.
However, Danielle struggled to find the right fit and often ended up rummaging through the men’s department in search of the oversized, tailored silhouette she had in mind. A good shirt was hard to find.
So, in 2017, she took the plunge and founded Yaitte. The BUOY striped shirt quickly became a signature, lauded by the likes of Vogue and SheerLuxe for its boyfriend cut and chic dropped back hem.

Every element of a Yaitte shirt is carefully considered: the precise angle of a collar, the pleat in a cuff, a logo-engraved button. We are proud to work with master craftspeople in Italy and Japan who create the finest bespoke weaves, bringing our designs to life.
