Timeless and smart, the women's white shirt lends an impeccable look.

Effortlessly chic, it is the ultimate wardrobe staple which dates back as far as the Egyptian Era. The shirt is a garment that has always resonated with me and I am currently looking to expand our shirt offering after having such success with our white 'VOYAGE' long-line style.

Before founding YAITTE, I would frequently be seen in my boyfriend's (now husband) shirts. There are endless ways this classic piece appeals, whilst holding the crown of the ultimate multi-tasker.

Working in the fashion industry my days have always been very varied; from sketching, to fitting sessions, to sourcing new inspiration at a vintage archive. The shirt allows me to be dressed up or down, as well as avoiding the feel of being trend-led or season driven.

It is an item that was seen throughout the 90's, paying homage to the decade in which the white shirt truly came into its own. Yet it truly remains timeless, an investment piece for every woman, to suit each individual style and taste.

I see the white shirt as the ultimate classic to have in one's arsenal, whether oversized or fitted, twill or poplin, there are endless ways this key wardrobe piece can be designed and rendered.

In time, my dream would be for YAITTE to be considered as a one-stop shop, offering the modern woman a variety of shirt styles to sit within her daily capsule wardrobe.
