Regarded as the new Mediterranean design hotspot, Mallorca's elegant capital Palma is easy to adore. Wandering the back streets of the characterful Old Town with it saffron-hued architecture, stumbling on the rejuvenated waterfront I felt completely at ease. The colossal Gothic cathedral with a fleet of sandstone flying buttresses were breathtaking especially at night when it was subtly lit to emphasis its sheer beauty and mass.

I had read a recent article in Conde Nast Traveller about a manor house-turned boutique hotel Posada Terra Santa which I promptly booked. The hotel is well camouflaged which made for a more intimate stay, underpinned by small, thoughtful details. After days spent exploring the City we would often relax in their spa and rooftop pool, surrounded by weathered stone and wooden beams. The well travelled staff were lovely and lit up when we asked to book a taxi to the wedding we were attending at Cap Rocat a former military fortress located in the most secluded area of the bay.

As I lost myself in this City we stumbled upon the vast marina that has berths for large yachts as well as smaller vessels. My mind quickly shifted to 'YAITTE' and the reasons behind me launching the brand. Like many career woman I can often find myself in a different destination week on week and felt that my wardrobe wasn't reflective of this pace of life, nor could I find a brand specific which catered from day to evening which wasn't trend led. After working in the fashion industry for many years I had also become increasingly conscious of mass produced garments, and felt I wanted to invest my time and experience in sought after product which is made to last.

I hope you join our journey.
