Flaming sunsets, stark shadows, and rolling tides set the scene for Yaitte’s Hibiscus collection. The travel capsule introduces a curation of signature twin sets and separates, alongside elevated swimwear and cover-ups.
Staying true to Yaitte’s roots, linear stripes and wave-like monograms pattern the collection while exquisite tonal embroidery and debut fabrications introduce a new dimension.

The Inspiration
“The exotic heat and curving forms of Patricia Caulfield’s 1964 photograph Hibiscus Flowers inspired me to begin sketching,” shared Yaitte founder Danielle Windsor. The image was pinned on her mood board alongside a print out of Indian artist Sunil Gawde’s metal sculpture A Rush of Blood to the Head (2012) and shots of a free-spirited Amber Valetta from the 90s.
Themes of sultry heat took shape in the colour palette, which is characterised by burnt oranges, punchy limes, and soft yellows – the tropicality of far-flung destinations.

The Collection
Elevated, breathable fabrics are a Yaitte essential, which led Windsor on a journey across the globe to source the finest French linen, cotton poplin, and silk blends. Hand-embroidered by artisans in India, Yaitte’s wave-like monogram ripples down the new cotton voile Bondi set, which comes to light in cool Ivory and fiery Burnt Orange.
Our exclusive signature stripes are woven in Italy and remerge this season across twin sets, shorts, trousers and shirts. The fabric is crafted by a specialist mill in Lake Como which is focused on artisanal craft and sustainable practices; take a look behind closed doors in this journal entry.

The Paros maxi dress offers a chic counterbalance to the thigh-skimming hemline of the Mini iteration. Longline silhouettes also emerge in the form of the monochromatic Milos set and the Paris Shirt Dress in Tofu and Sand, which can be pared with the Elba shorts for a fresh take on the co-ord.
To keep your luggage light, each piece in the collection evolves Yaitte’s design codes and is designed to be layered and pared for maximum wearability.

The Campaign
Having shot editorials for Mr Porter and The Glass Magazine and captured the likes of Alexa Chung and Natasha Poly, photographer Jon Gorrigan turned his lens to Yaitte to shoot the Hibiscus campaign.
A sleek Modernist house in London provided the backdrop. Light streamed through the glass walls and illuminated the angular geometries. Owned by a globe-trotting female philosopher, the property was populated with exquisite mid-century furniture and artefacts.

The Ethos
As a brand rooted in travel, rising sea levels are never far from thought. Yaitte founder and mother of two Danielle Windsor lives on the British coast and is passionate about protecting the ocean – earth’s most valuable ecosystem – for future generations.
Each season we strive to improve our materials and techniques while minimising our impact on the planet. Learn more about Yaitte’s sustainability commitment.
